Happy National Poetry Month!

It's that time of year again, dear reader! Though I think about poetry every day, April is a great occasion to remember old favorites and discover new poems.

In celebration of National Poetry Month, the blog will be turning more of its attention to poems. Amidst some music coverage, I will be running two four-part poetry series.

The first, Chap Chat, will review chapbooks, which get overshadowed simply because they are smaller collections and despite the fact that they are often excellent artistic endeavors.

The second, Poetry Rewind, will revisit older (and sometimes out-of-print) books.

I will also be contributing to the following Tumblr, which will post a few new poems every day: The Human Line.

Happy reading!
