When Carly Rae Jepson dropped her masterpiece single, "Call Me Maybe," the song's popularity was boosted by lip-synching videos from stars like Justin Bieber. In embrace of his friend's new slice of bubble gum pop, "I Really Like You," Bieber has made yet another video, which features stars like Ariana Grande (who does a little riff at the outset), Lance Bass, and Kendall Jenner. The video is a nice gesture for a few reasons. First, it shows Bieber as fun, supportive, and friendly--not a bad move for a guy whose private tribulations have overshadowed his promising music career. Also, as the weather warms, radio is ready for a spring pop anthem and Carly Rae's tune perfectly fills that need--it's really, really, really, really good. A viral video like this (with some press) could inspire more videos and more radio play, which the tune needs to become a bona fide hit. Not to mention, Justin Bieber's abs are not terrible way to advertise something; I mean, Calvin Klein is doing it.
